Angela Plushenko Academy has filed a formal complaint about the Russian Figure Skating Federation’s (FFKKR) coach Sofia Fedchenko for her statements about Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko. It has been reported “Sport Express”.

According to the publication, Plushenko’s side asked the commission to evaluate two episodes: “public discussion and public assessment of athlete Sofia Titova” and “public insult to Plushenko’s coach Evgeny Viktorovich.”

Recall that Plushenko was not satisfied with the assessment of his students at the Russian Championship among juniors. He said that his team might consider moving to other teams. His statement will also be evaluated by the FFKKR.

Alina Gorbacheva, who trained with Fedchenko, took the first place at the Russian Junior Championships. Second and third places went to Plushenko’s students Veronika Zhilina and Sofia Titova.

Recall that at the end of February 2022, the IOC addressed international sports federations and recommended that domestic and Belarusian athletes not be allowed to participate in any competitions. For this reason, the International Skating Union (ISU) suspended Russian and Belarusian athletes from competitions.

Formerly Ivan Skobrev Announced the interest of foreign countries to Russian figure skaters of the Plushenko Academy.
