In the match played with Al Taawuna in the 17th week of the Saudi Arabian championship, the captain of the Portuguese national team scored goals in the 17th and 78th minutes. He had previously only scored but never recorded assists in matches for his new team.
Al-Nasr won 2-1. Ronaldo’s team is in the first place in the ranking with 40 points.
Ronaldo, 38, has been without a team since November 2022 after his contract with English Premier League (EPL) club Manchester United was terminated. Before leaving the team, the Portuguese gave a scandalous interview in which he criticized Manchester United’s leadership, coaches and players.
On January 2, Ronaldo became the player of Al-Nasr from Saudi Arabia under a contract for which he will receive €200 million per year. Additional bonuses were also reported for the Portuguese and his family.
