Dynamo Moscow coach Alexei Kudashov may take over Ak Bars Kazan next season Metaratings.ru.
According to the publication, the leadership of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) club in the capital of Tatarstan considers 51-year-old Kudashov the successor of Zinetula Bilyaletdinov.
Previously, Kudashov, Yaroslavl Lokomotiv and St. Petersburg SKA, and the second season, in the role of mentor for Dynamo.
After the resignation of Oleg Znarka, Bilyaletdinov became the head of Ak Bars in the 2022/23 season. The Kazan team is the leader of the Eastern Conference and has secured playoffs like Dynamo Moscow.
Ak Bars announced that Znark resigned from his position as head coach on 2 December, stating that the expert left the club voluntarily. Yury Babenko was acting head coach before Bilyaletdinov’s appointment.
Znarok became the coach of Ak Bars in April 2022.
