You will be surprised that the largest stadium in the world is the Rungrad of May 1located in North Korea, also known as the May Day Stadium.
North Korean authorities claim the stadium has a capacity of 150,000 people, but the actual capacity is less than 114,000. Still, it remains the best place in the world to watch football. The first event held there was the 13th World Festival of Youth and Students.
Other notable stadiums are the Melbourne cricket groundin Australia, followed by the Camp now, home of FC Barcelona. And lately, with its new work, the River Plate stadium has become the largest in South America.
