Tatyana Navka, the 2006 Olympic champion in ice dancing, described the statement of the head of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach regarding the possible Ukrainian boycott of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris as adequate and correct.
President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, Vadim Gutzeit, said in a previous statement that the national team of this country could miss the 2024 Games if Russian and Belarusian athletes participate.
Bach also said that the boycott of Ukraine did not comply with the mission of the Olympic Charter. According to him, “individual athletes should not be discriminated against by exclusion.”

Will normal, logical thinking and approach return to where it should be?” – Navka wrote telegraph channel.
The International Olympic Committee reported earlier that the organization said that Russians and Belarusians, who did not express their active support for the special operation on the territory of Ukraine, are considering participation in the Olympic Games.
