Rubin midfielder Igor Gorbunov talked about working with the former head coach of Kazan club Leonid Slutsky.
The football player admitted that the departure of the specialist was a surprise to all Rubin players. According to him, he is grateful to and respects Slutsky. It was Slutsky who invited Gorbunov to the capital of Tatarstan.

In November, Leonid Slutsky left his post as Rubin’s head coach. Recall that last season, under the guidance of an expert, the team took 15th place and last flew to the National Football League (now the Major League), where they played in the 2002 season.
