The Italian Football Federation wants Juventus to deduct at least 20 points for fraudulent player salaries. It has been reported Corriere dello Sport.
According to the source, Juventus reported that they have agreed to give up their players’ four-month salaries so that the club can get out of the crisis caused by the pandemic.
But wiretapping and social media wiretaps prove that the team knew that wasn’t the case. It was noted that the players refused to receive a salary for only one month. The rest of the amount players receive is in “grey”.
Recall that on January 20, the FIGC Court of Appeals held hearings on the resumption of proceedings in the financial fraud case.
The FIGC prosecution deprived Juventus of 15 points and suspended 11 of the club’s former management from football. Former team director Fabio Paratici was suspended for 30 months, ex-director Maurizio Arrivabene and ex-president Andrea Agnelli – for 24 months, ex-directors Paolo Garimberti and Pavel Nedved – for eight months each.
Previously reportedPortuguese former Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly ready to testify and speak with the Turin prosecutor’s office as part of the financial investigation into salaries at the Italian club.
