Former AC Milan football player Patrizio Billio has died at the age of 48. The death of the former player was confirmed by the press service of the red-blacks.
“Patricio Billio, who grew up in our youth team and coached our football school in Kuwait since 2011, has passed away,” the club said in a statement.
According to Italian media, Billio suffered a heart attack while playing tennis at the Milan Academy in Kuwait.
After leaving the Milan system, Billio played for England’s Crystal Palace as well as Scottish Aberdeen and Dundee.
