Russian developers Ilya and Savva Osipov (father and son), living in the USA, presented WOWCube at CES 2023. This is a new generation of Rubik’s Cube crossed with a game console.
The novelty is equipped with 24 OLED screens (4 on each side), there is a Type-C port and a battery. The operating system is CubiOS with developer tools. Also “on board” there are 21 games and an application store. As noted, all games are “sharpened” for control by rotating the entire cube or its segments.
Also, all screens can be painted in certain colors, so that you can easily collect the cube. And it can also display data – weather, time, and so on. Finally, it can be used as a night light.
The price of WOWCube is $ 499 (almost 35,000 rubles at the exchange rate). Sales will start this year. When you purchase WOWCube, you get a $100 gift card for game purchases.
