Anna Kasterova, wife of National Hockey League (NHL) striker Pittsburgh Penguins Yevgeny Malkin, reacted to football player Gareth Bale’s decision to end his career.
“Favourite after Beckham, a player in Britain – Gareth Bale has finished football,” Kasterova wrote, telegraph channel.
Bale’s last club was Los Angeles. He also played for Southampton, Tottenham and Real Madrid. As part of the “royal club”, he became the champion of Spain three times, and also won the Champions League five times.
Bale made 111 appearances for Wales and scored 41 goals. In 2016, he became the bronze medalist of the European Championship. Wales did not qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
