Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic spoke about Russian representative Daniil Medvedev before the face-to-face match to be played at the ATP-250 series tournament held in Australia.
The semi-final match of the tournament in Adelaide should be played on 7 January, with the estimated start at 13:00 Moscow time.
“I don’t think there will be many short games tomorrow if we don’t serve well. As a rule, when you play against Daniil, you must be physically and mentally prepared to endure the entire match.
At a press conference before the game, Djokovic said that Daniil has definitely been one of the best tennis players in the world in the last five years.
On January 6, as part of the quarterfinals, Medvedev defeated compatriot Karen Khachanov with a score of 6:3, 6:3 in two sets. On the same day, Djokovic faced Canadian tennis player Denis Shapovalov, and their matches ended with the scores of 6:3, 6:4 in two sets.
