With over 20 teams already qualified for the next World Cup event in various football territories around the world, eyes will be on the reclassification tournament that will award the last three available tickets.

WHEN AND WHERE IS IT?
The intercontinental play-off is held February 17 to 23, 2023 located in New Zealandwith Auckland’s North Harbor Stadium and Hamilton’s Waikato Stadium as the chosen venues to host the 10 participating teams.
WHAT FORMAT WILL THE INTERCONTINENTAL REPESQUE BE?
The tournament is divided into three groups. Sectors A and B will consist of three teams, with one seed each (Portugal and Chile). The remaining two teams play a single elimination match and the winner faces the head of the group for the World Cup ticket.
Group C will feature two seeded heads, competing against a rival with a lower ranking in the rankings, with the winners of each crossing competing for the last available spot in the World Cup.
The Seeds are determined by the FIFA rankings most recent prior to the start of the resit. Similarly, New Zealand and an invited team will play a series of friendlies.
