Al-Nasr head coach Rudy Garcia spoke about Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to his club.
“My goal is to make him happy and help him enjoy every moment he is at the club.
I’ve never worked with players at Ronaldo’s level because he’s out of reach. His transfer is a godsend for our football and for Saudi Arabia as a whole,” Garcia says. Corriere dello Sport.
Ronaldo, 37, has been without a team since November 2022. In an interview with journalist Piers Morgan on the eve of the World Cup in Qatar, he publicly criticized Manchester United’s coaching staff, management and policies.
The club then decided to terminate his contract with the player early. After the talks, the parties came to a mutual decision to go further in different ways.
On January 2, he became the player of Al-Nasr under the contract, which he will receive 200 million Euros per year. Before that, he only played for Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid in Europe.
