Olympic champion in ice dancing Tatyana Navka spoke about the hopes of Russian athletes to continue participating in international competitions and suggested paying attention to Asia.
“If our sports federations and athletes do not want to see the West, we will go to the East, where Russia is expected. In the end, life goes on: you have to learn, work, create, love and forgive. All this is inherent in the Russian people, and in the nature of the Russian culture, and let’s say we can not be crushed by fingers, ”says Navka “Pair TV”.
On February 28, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) addressed the international sports federations and recommended that they not allow domestic and Belarusian athletes to participate in any competitions.
After that, various international sports organizations started to exclude Russian athletes from competitions and our country lost its right to host major international competitions. Only a small part of the Russian athletes were able to continue their performance in the international arena in an impartial manner.
Former Russian Olympic Committee In 2022-2023 will allocate about 2 billion rubles to support sports federations.
