Anastasia Mishina and Alexander Gallyamov became the short program winners at the Russian Championship. The couple scored 85.37 points. These are higher scores than the world record held by Chinese Sui Wenjing and Han Cong. They set it up at the Beijing Olympics (84.41 points). But the record of the Russians is unofficial.

Alexandra Boikova and Dmitry Kozlovsky took second place with 84.32 points. The top three were closed by Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov (81.23 points).

The free program for couples will take place on December 24 at 12:30 Moscow time.

Recall that the International Skating Union (ISU) suspended Russian and Belarusian athletes from the competition. The ISU explained this decision with the recommendations of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). This decision was approved at the ISU congress in early June. It has an indeterminate structure.

Russian figure skaters wrapped up the international season ahead of schedule. They failed to compete at the World Championships in Montpellier. Domestic skaters are definitely missing all ISU tournaments until the end of 2022.

Previously FFKKR spoke about the reactions from abroad to the holding of the first jumping championship.
