The road to the group stage of the 2023 Copa Libertadores is long and continues through the previous stage of the continental tournament.
The Libertadores Cup 2023 starts with the previous stage, with the second round being the one with the most participating teams. The prestigious continental tournament kicks off on February 8 with the first round of the repechage on the way to the group stage, where there is only room for 32 clubs.

WHEN WILL THE SECOND PREVIOUS STAGE OF THE 2023 LIBERTADORES CUP BE PLAYED?
Conmebol has scheduled the second round of the previous phase for days Tuesday 21, Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 February the single matches and for Tuesday 28 February, Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 March the resits.
HOW WILL THE SECOND PREVIOUS STAGE OF THE 2023 LIBERTADORES CUP BE PLAYED?
To be 16 teams participate in the second round, three of which are from phase 1. The rest is divided into a club from the leagues of Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuelain addition to a few qualified teams from Brazil, Chile and Colombia.
The size is approx eight direct crosses with round-trip races, selected through a lottery.
CLASSIFIED TEAMS
So far the qualified teams are: Huracán, Deportivo Maldonado, Carabobo, Millionaires, Independiente de Medellín Always Ready, Fortaleza, Atlético Mineiro, Magallanes, Curico Unido, Universidad Católica, Cerro Porteño, Sporting Cristal.
In the first stage, the crosses will be between: Sports Huancayo vs Nacional, Boston River vs Zamora and Nacional Potosí vs El Nacional.
