The South American Cup 2023 It will initially have the participation of four coffee teams, the best placed in the Total Reclassification of 2022 who did not get a place in the Libertadores: Sports Tolima, Junior, Santa Fe and Golden Eagleswho will attempt to qualify for the next stage once the qualifying series is mutually determined.
The draw for Phase I took place on Tuesday, December 20, where the clashes between our teams were revealed.

THE COLOMBIAN QUALIFICATION
In the first phase of the tournament, the teams from each federation play against a team from their own country in one match. during the week of March 8. That is, two keys were collected among the keys classified by coffee country and place by lottery.

- Golden Eagles vs. Santa Fe, in Rionegro
The winners will progress to the Group Stage where they will share an area with 3 more teams to be drawn in March, once Stage I is complete.
From the group stage, the first goes directly to the round of 16, while the second plays a play-off against the teams that came from the Copa Libertadores as third in their respective groups.
