AMD and NVIDIA recently launched next-generation RX 7000 and RTX 40 graphics cards, with Intel soon to follow suit. Their Battlemage series of accelerators will reportedly be released as early as 2023, and the best cards will be able to compete with the RTX 4070.

It is not yet clear whether this will be a full-fledged contender, but it is unlikely that the card will be able to show any miracles of performance. Indeed, earlier Raja Koduri stated that Intel will focus mainly on energy efficiency, and not on the raw performance of video cards.
Note that it was previously said that the first generation Arc graphics cards will compete with the RTX 3060 or RTX 3070. Overall, they turned out to be about the level of 3060Ti. So the new generation can be really comparable to the RTX 4070. At the same time, the new card is credited with a TDP of 225 W.
