The researchers note that they used the StyleGAN2 neural network to train the AI. He helped them generate a large number of faces from 18 to 85 years old, which in turn enabled them to create a large-scale database of necessary materials.
After generation, which affects different parts of the face (forehead, nose, cheeks, etc.), the neural network imposes an additional layer that allows you to rejuvenate or age a person. The image is also filtered during this process.
