NVIDIA has discontinued several popular low-cost graphics cards. We are talking about the GeForce RTX 2060 Super, GeForce RTX 2060, GeForce GTX 1660 Super and GeForce GTX 1660 models.

All these cards appeared in 2019 and were popular against the background of a shortage of more expensive and modern solutions. So, for a long time, the RTX 2060 was the most affordable solution with support for ray tracing, and the GeForce GTX 1660 series became popular due to its low cost and more or less good performance.

But now NVIDIA is clearing the market for GeForce RTX 3050/3060 models. At the same time, a new version of the 3060 Ti with GDDR6X memory is expected to appear (the current one has GDDR6). It is not yet clear to what extent this will improve performance.

As such, the GeForce RTX 2060 Super, GeForce RTX 2060, GeForce GTX 1660 Super, and GeForce GTX 1660 cards will remain on the market until stocks run out.
