Marvel Distribution specialists analyzed laptop sales in Russia and found that they have fallen significantly since the beginning of the year. So MacBook sales fell 4 times at once, HP – 3 times, Dell – 90%. This is confirmed by M.Video-Eldorado and Citylink. If in January 2022 more than 15 thousand Dell laptops were sold in Russia, then in August – only 670 units.
But sales of Chinese laptops have grown. Huawei rose by 372% to 33.3 thousand, Honor – by 113% to 20.7 thousand. The sales figures of the Chinese laptops Thunderobot and Machenike and the Russian Aquarius also rose.
In total, 1.9 million laptops have been sold in Russia since the beginning of the year, while in August only 178.7 thousand, which is 43% less than in January this year.
The top 5 in terms of sales is now occupied by Lenovo (18%), Acer (13%), Asus (12%) and Apple (8%) models. For Huawei and Honor, the market share was 7% and 6% respectively. Really big news: Euro Truck Simulator 2 turned 10
