In a recent survey reported by SuperExpress, PiS and Confederation voters show a clear hesitation about forming a coalition after the parliamentary elections. The poll indicates that 30 percent of PiS supporters believe their party should not pursue a coalition, while 57 percent of Confederation voters share the view that their party should avoid coalitions altogether. These figures come from a poll conducted by the Pollster Research Institute and released on September 1.

The study asked PiS and Confederation supporters to consider the question: which coalition would they accept, if any, after the elections?

Reluctance to form a coalition

Among PiS voters, 30 percent stated that their preferred party should not form a coalition. Some suggested potential coalitions: 24 percent favored PiS forming a coalition with Confederation first; 6 percent suggested a partnership with the Third Way; 4 percent with the Left; 1 percent with the Civic Coalition; and 7 percent indicated a coalition with another party. About 28 percent of PiS voters chose not to answer.

In the Confederation bloc, the majority—57 percent—opposed forming any coalition. Eleven percent believed the Confederation should align with PiS, 8 percent with KO, and 12 percent with another party. Twelve percent of Confederation voters responded with uncertainty, saying they did not know.

The survey, according to SuperExpress, was conducted on August 23–24 and included a sample of 1,038 adults across Poland.
