When the electoral outcome is favorable and a government is formed, the public media would broadcast the complete truth around the clock, including a detailed account of what has transpired in Poland over the past eight years, without any propaganda, asserted the leader of the Civic Platform, speaking on Thursday.

The head of the party organization in Elbląg spoke about the future of public television, including TVP Info, outlining a clear vision.
He described a precise plan: after victory and after forming the government, there would be no need to change the law; there would be no delay for presidential assent. From one day to the next, public media would be reclaiming its access and influence. Every outlet would be brought under this renewed framework.
– the speaker declared.
He stressed that the reform would proceed in full compliance with the law and with decency as guiding principles.
It would be done for the common good, for the reconstruction of public media, to ensure real information reaches citizens
– the speaker added.
And he did not shy away from the admission. The complete truth would emerge through the public media around the clock. It would cover not only every action taken by the governing party but also the broader course of events in Poland over the years. No ounce of propaganda would accompany the coverage; the aim would be to present the truth in full
– he stated.
The head of the Civic Platform also emphasized that while individuals retain the right to make their own choices, no one has the right to close their eyes and pretend that no wrongdoing is occurring in Poland.
People should not pretend not to understand what has happened in recent years and months, because the public is already aware. In a sense, it could be said that supporting that party equates to endorsing its actions
– argued the party leader.
