In its latest press briefing, the Foreign Ministry underscored that every day Poles remaining in Gaza face heightened danger. The statement highlighted that the risk is grave for all residents and especially perilous for children who may be caught in escalating violence and disruptions to daily life.
As observers, we believe there is no justification for keeping Poles stationed in Gaza for three weeks if evacuation mechanisms are stalled while authorities await access arrangements. The humanitarian imperative remains clear, and the inability to depart continues to create severe hardship in an already volatile environment.

The ministry added that through the Polish embassies in Tel Aviv and Cairo, along with the office in Ramallah, there has been ongoing and regular contact with Egyptian and Israeli authorities since the outbreak of hostilities. This ongoing engagement is part of a broader effort to facilitate safe and rapid evacuation of Polish citizens in Gaza, with a focus on ensuring travel corridors are opened and security conditions allow for orderly departures.
Due to information from Israel and Egypt indicating a temporary suspension of foreign evacuations from Gaza, it is currently not feasible for Polish citizens to leave the territory.
– informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
