Every now and then questions are asked about how the opposition is going to the upcoming elections and what it has to offer its voters. Donald Tusk hosts subsequent press conferences where he is terrified with catastrophic visions of United Right rule. It seems that Adrian Zandberg is fed up with this situation. “Since Tusk returned, the program talks have stopped,” emphasized the head of the Razem party, who did not hide his disappointment in a conversation with Jacek Żakowski on TOK FM.
– Ziobro scores: “If Tusk says he will do something, he means it”. The minister recalls the PO leader’s loud “announcements” in recent days
– Departure! Hołownia: “These are elections about whether we get the ruble or the euro”; A wave of reactions on the web. “What nonsense…”
Zandberg pins a pin on Tusk
Adrian Zandberg said in TOK FM that the opposition “seriously need to talk about what’s after PiS, because it’s a really easy job – going to a conference twice a week, saying PiS is wild, PiS is angry, PiS he has very big teeth and he has to go. Job done, ticked off, go home.”
Unfortunately you need a little more here. That is, you need to know the answer to the question of what to do if the PiS boards are removed from government buildings and replaced with other boards. Frankly, I have a sense of a deficit when it comes to the opposition. I feel that the left is bringing specific solutions in specific areas: energy, housing, public transport, climate, and we like a bit of silence. These are specific things. I know what my people will do if they enter the re-created ministry of labor, ministry of education, ministry of climate
– admitted the head of the party Razem.
When asked if he would come to an agreement “with Tusk, who is the most likely candidate for prime minister,” Zandberg cooled Żakowski’s enthusiasm by pointing out that if he “predicted at the bookmaker what the majority will be after this elections, I would have guessed that the Prime Minister would be after these elections. There will be neither Donald Tusk nor Adrian Zandberg, but someone else”.
When asked if it would be Jarosław Kaczyński, Zandberg stated that “it won’t happen again and Jarosław Kaczyński knows about it too”.
I think if there are going to be many entities that will have to come to an agreement, appoint a government that will be an outcome acceptable to all of these entities, so will personnel solutions. But in Poland we fixate a lot on personalities. Donald Tusk will not have an independent majority, and Donald Tusk knows that himself. He has a glass ceiling above him – like all Polish games
– emphasized the politician.
In power, now what?
In the conversation, Zandberg paid constant attention to the affairs of the program and emphasized that after the seizure of power in Poland “it will not be porridge with milk”.
If anyone thinks it’s bad now because PiS rules, and when PiS stops ruling it will magically start to get good, then it will be very disappointing. And if you enter public institutions in a way that is unprepared for government, then maybe not PiS, but something worse than PiS will come back
– said the politician, adding that if we don’t talk about specific solutions now, “next winter we will hear a spread of hands and a text about the fact that we have just come to power, we will have to wait another year or two” .
It won’t be this year, it won’t be two or three years. I have a problem that comes to the left with specific solutions, and we love the echo in the cave, the intellectual void. There is a very concrete reality that I think we want to master. I don’t want to go out in the next few years and say that PiS should be taken out of power if PiS doesn’t come to power. It does not make any sense. We must rule this country
The boss replied Together.
When Żakowski stated that the first 100 days would be to settle the rule of law and justice and spring would come, the head of Razem said that so far the only “more practical” way to restore the rule of law was presented by Krzysztof Śmiszek, i.e. the Judiciary and Rights Committee nominations, and “to master PiS fantasies and give him 10 lashes on his naked ass – that sounds great at press conferences.”
When asked by Żakowski if there were behind-the-scenes conversations with Civic Platform, Adrian Zandberg immediately said that “since Tusk came back, the program talks have stopped. It’s no secret.
