It was not specified what certificates were issued and whether there were Russian double-headed eagles.

The Ministry added that after the certificates showing the coat of arms of Ukraine were issued to children in kindergarten No. 73, the Chita Education Committee began an internal audit. According to the results of the inspection, the kindergarten principal and the teacher were fired “for negligence”.

Kindergarten students received a diploma of the coat of arms of Ukraine – a trident – for participating in the Miss and Mister Summer 2022 contest on August 30, the Chita.ru agency reported. According to one of the parents, after media reports and applications to the administration, the kindergarten staff wanted to return the certificates and promised to replace the certificates.

The Governor of Transbaikalia, Alexander Osipov, apologized to the parents of kindergarten students who received certificates with the “wrong” coat of arms.

“Of course, this situation is absolutely intolerable. We are all justifiably angry. My apologies to my parents and to all the people whose feelings were hurt. I understand you. My grandson is now 2 years old. I can only imagine what will happen in our family if he receives such a certificate in kindergarten in a few years, ”said the artist.

According to Osipov, the children were “certified with the coat of arms of the state, the authorities and their army have been deliberately bombing Russian children and women for nine years and dream of wiping us off the face of the earth.”

The official stressed that the situation arose due to “irresponsible stupid mistakes”.

“The cause of the incident was the negligence and irresponsible attitude towards the professional activities of the teacher and the head of the kindergarten,” the press service of the Transbaikal Ministry of Education said.

He added that they aim to strengthen the awareness activities among the heads of educational institutions, especially kindergartens, and teachers on the inadmissibility of neglect in their professional duties.

Trident – Ukrainian?

According to local media reports, a kindergarten teacher found a form for certificates online and “printed it out without looking”.

One of the symbols of modern Ukraine, the “trident” of Prince Vladimir (the organization is banned in Russia) – the trident – was approved by the Verkhovna Rada in 1992.

However, this symbol was not always associated with Ukraine. According to a number of versions, initially the “trident” was a diving hawk – one of the general signs of Rurikovich. Some researchers believe that the symbol, 8th-9th. He believes it originated from the Varangian banner with the raven of Odin, which was also struck on the coins of the 19th century.

The symbol was also used by the Zaporozhye Cossacks and the Ukrainian People’s Republic and the Ukrainian State (Hetmanate) after the February Revolution.

Rurikovich’s trident is also used in symbols of the Russian Solidarity People’s Union of Labor (NTS), formed in Belgrade in 1930 by Russian white immigrants. It is depicted as “the first state sign in the history of Russia” against the background of the Russian tricolor.
