Before the parliamentary committee of inquiry for Pegasus, which was recognized by the Constitutional Tribunal in September 2024 as illegal with the Constitution, today Aleksander Goszczycki, vice president of the Matic SA board – a company that would be an intermediary in the process of Buy the process of the process of Pegasus software.
For today, the Sroka Commission, recognized by the constitutional Tribunal as an unconstitutional, planned interrogations of two representatives of the Matic SA Company, who would be an intermediary in the process of purchasing the Pegasus system of the Israeli company NSO Group for the CBA. At 10.30, Aleksander Goszczycki, vice president of the Matic SA board of directors, was confronted with the committee. The interrogation must be continued in the classified formula at 14.
As the chairman of the Magdalena Sroka (PSL-TD) committee said earlier, the hearing of Matic representatives will mainly relate to the issue of purchasing Pegasus software. The second witness is a representative of the company Adam Chromiński.
A free explanation of the witness
Goszczycki appeared with a representative during the interrogation. He also benefited from the possibility of a free explanation in which he said that he has been associated with Matic since 2013, where he was responsible for “the entire defense area and IT solutions are implementing to combat crime and improve the safety of the state.”
The witness explained that Matic is a specialized integrator of information technologies, which means that in addition to solutions and services consisting of his own competencies, he collaborates with ‘recognized providers of solutions from almost the world’. He added that the Matic team is currently around 50 people.

He also noted that Matic is one of the few companies that offers specialized IT solutions in the field of defense, which – as he assessed – directly contribute to improving the safety of the country.
Since 2011, Matic has issued a certificate of industrial security in the protection mode of classified information and we also have a concession about the rotation of double -spring materials, issued in 2014. This means that the actions of the company, as well as mine, are constantly becoming brought under supervision by the relevant authorities of our country, in particular by the internal safety agency

Secrety clause
The Vice President determined that he had a very limited opportunity to speak for the committee, especially in the event of an explicit interrogation. As he explained, all information about the collaboration of Matic with the MKBA information that falls under a confidentiality clause within the meaning of the law on the protection of classified information about the secret clause.
This mainly applies to the contract itself for the purchase and implementation of the clear details of our collaboration. The only settlement of the secret in this area is the MKBA
– The witness said, adding that until the MKBA had released him from the obligation to keep a secret in this respect, he could not answer questions about the information that falls under this clause.
Goszczycki testified that the head of the CBA Agnieszka Kwiatkowska-Gurdak has released him from the obligation to maintain the secret of classified information, but “only in terms of circumstances with regard to the purchase of Pegasus software or comparable (…) And similar persons for the purchase of Pegasus or similar software. “
