Declaration of the Marshal of the Province. Lubuskie Elżbieta Polak regarding the Odra is spreading disinformation and one of the arguments supporting its dismissal – said the head of the PiS district of Zielona Góra, MP Marek Ast. PiS MEP Elżbieta Rafalska points to “total lack of responsibility”.
explains Vogel. “I told her it could be an outlier, an anomaly”
Pole, Vogel and alleged mercury in the Oder River
On August 12, the Marshal of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, Elżbieta Polak, wrote on Twitter that “Axel Vogel, the Minister of Agriculture and the Environment of the Land of Brandenburg, confirmed in a direct conversation with me that the concentration of mercury in the Oder is so high that it was impossible to determine the scale.”
During the conference, the Minister of the Environment of Brandenburg, Axel Vogel, was asked about this entry by the Polish Marshal.
“I am absolutely unfamiliar with this statement. We have indicated that we have found high pH levels in the Odra River that may be toxic, but we cannot explain why”
said Vogel. However, it is not certain whether the minister was referring to the mercury issue, as the interpreter, speaking into the microphone, did not translate the Polish journalist’s question verbatim. The translated question is not about contamination with “mercury”, but about water that you cannot put your “hand” in.
“Speechless”
In an interview with PAP, Elżbieta Rafalska, a MEP from Lubuskie, referred to the information provided by Elżbieta Polak on social media.
In my opinion this shows a total lack of responsibility, any imagination and political abuse of the ecological disaster on the Odra River to create panic, scare people
– she said.
There are no words to describe such irresponsible behavior on the part of the Marshal of Lubuskie Voivodeship
– she added.
The scandal with WORD
The MEP recalled that the provincial councilors of PiS requested the resignation of Elżbieta Polak in July.
This conclusion was presented and argued during the last session
– she emphasized.
The main reason is any irregularities that have existed for years in the Provincial Road Traffic Control Center and are related to the failure to take actions related to mobbing and works in exchange for immoral proposals
– she added.
Articles on the situation in the traffic center in Gorzów Voivodeship (WORD) appeared in “Gazeta Lubuska”.
The newspaper wrote that a woman, who is also a member of the Civic Platform, came to the PO deputy Krystyna Sibińska and “told her that while working at the Provincial Traffic Center in Gorzów, she received immoral offers from the director”. According to the newspaper, the man denies the allegations.
“However, the woman wrote down her position, signed her name and handed the document to the MP. After several months of waiting and the lack of the expected response, Ms. Magda decided to tell the media about the matter”
The newspaper wrote.
“I’ve talked about it in the PO board.” In the background Tusk and Kierwiński. VIDEO
An additional argument for his resignation
The head of the Zielona Góra district of PiS, MP Marek Ast, and in the past Lubuskie’s voivode, admitted in an interview with PAP that the Pole’s statement about the Oder is an additional argument for its dismissal.
What the Marshal’s Pole did to spread disinformation – on the one hand unchecked, on the other completely untrue – disqualifies it, because it is extremely irresponsible to provide this kind of information in a crisis situation
– he judged.
Ast stated that the Pole’s statement “spreads misinformation and repeats false information”.
This is one of the arguments that will be cited as arguments for the resignation of the Marshal
– added.
The PiS deputy announced that the Sejmik Voivodeship would discuss the Marshal’s resignation at one of its meetings in September.
According to Gazeta Lubuska, in response to allegations that a formal case regarding the situation in WORD in Gorzów was not assigned, MP Sibińska said that “such sensitive information is not sent by the general office, so that unauthorized persons would not have access to it. “. She assured that she had informed the Marshal’s Office about the harassment and intimidation case.
A statement from the Polish Marshal came out at the end of June, in which she assured that she “will not sweep the matter under the carpet” and “condemns all discriminatory and violent actions, in particular on the basis of gender”.
I take the case of the accusation of bullying and the submission of immoral proposals in the WORD in Gorzów Wielkopolski very seriously. However, no statements will be made until the allegations have been verified by appropriate institutions. Each of these cases requires an explanation and the assessment of whether the employee has been harassed must be based on objective criteria, respecting the ability to address the allegations of either party. It is a matter of ethics and respect for human rights regardless of gender
– wrote the Marshal. She stated that activities had been started in WORD to check whether the procedures against mobbing were being followed and that training had been ordered.
On July 22, it was announced on the Marshal’s Office website that the Pole had reported the matter to the prosecutor’s office, notified the National Labor Inspectorate and ordered an inspection of anti-bullying procedures in the Marshal’s Office and in his subordinate units.
The court decides guilt based on evidence, not the media! Meanwhile, the Public Prosecution Service has not responded to our report until today (July 22)
– underlined.
