President Andrzej Duda is currently attending the 7th World Economic Forum in Davos, where economic and business issues are being discussed. Now that Donald Trump is coming to power, conversations about the new reality are extremely important. Yesterday, the new US president outlined a number of groundbreaking decisions that will have a direct impact on the global economy, energy and security. He announced, among other things, declaring a state of emergency in the energy sector, ending the Green Deal and eco-terrorist ideology, protecting oil sector jobs and restoring strong oil and gas exports. Moreover, he plans to impose tariffs on foreign production to enrich Americans. All this is certainly the subject of lively discussions in Davos. They will be attended by President Andrzej Duda, who has planned a number of formal and informal meetings with world leaders and business representatives. However, Donald Tusk is not there! Once again he is absent from a place that is absolutely crucial to world events. He was marginalized and excluded from decisive discussions. It is understandable that if he were to receive an invitation, he would have a political and moral obligation to participate in the summit. It is also misleading to explain that if the president goes to the top, the prime minister resigns. After all, both Duda and Morawiecki were in Davos in 2022. Donald Tusk remained in Warsaw, where he organized another media spectacle by auctioning a Kashubian breakfast at the Prime Minister’s Chancellery for the Grand Orchestra of Christmas Charities.

Hasn’t the world been turned upside down? Perhaps Donald Tusk has not yet realized the enormous changes that have just begun in the US. Well, the world is changing 180 degrees, although it would probably be fair to say that it is being put back on its feet. Trump’s presidency is an opportunity to regain normalcy in spaces taken over by ideologues. The gender madness has just been said goodbye. Trump reversed Biden’s decisions and revealed the truth that had been clear for centuries, that there are only two genders. He announced an end to the policy of introducing the concepts of race and gender into government, and promised that taxpayers’ money would not be used to fund “gender change.” Conservatives around Trump and his voters know well how much destruction has been caused by the extreme ideological indoctrination of society. These processes will be corrected, also in the areas of law and freedom of expression. It certainly takes consistency and time, but there is no doubt that a great change has begun, leading to social healing. May this wind of change, which restores identity, internal strength and sovereignty, reach Poland as soon as possible.
