Przemysław Czarnek commented on RMF FM on the controversy surrounding plans to introduce new health education in schools. The Law and Justice MP criticized the government for trying to impose a sex education program that violates parents’ rights to decide on their children’s education. “This is the nonsense this government is doing to parents,” the former Minister of Education and Science emphasized.
Parents can take matters into their own hands and actively protest the introduction of a compulsory subject called health education in schools! Tomorrow at 12 noon, a demonstration will take place on Castle Square in Warsaw, organized by the Coalition to Save the Polish School (involving more than 70 social organizations: parents, teachers, freedom, local, patriotic, Polish) under the slogan “Yes to education! No to depravity!”

““It is an attack on freedom of the mind.”
Przemysław Czarnek commented on RMF FM on the controversy surrounding plans to introduce new health education in schools. The PiS MP criticized the government for trying to impose a sex education programme, which he believes violates the right of parents to decide on their children’s upbringing.
This is an attack on the freedom of mind, consciousness and conscience of our children and our young people
– said Czarnek, who announced his participation in the protest against the introduction of new rules.
“This is a shame for the parents.”
As he added, “health education in Polish schools today covers various topics, but we are not talking about the components of health education that already exist, but about the components that are just being introduced.”

“WDŻ is optional”
The former Minister of Education and Science emphasized that “we do not mean that there should be no health education.” He explained that Type B education “promotes certain behaviors that are downright deviant and treats them as normal.”
It is up to parents to explain this reality to children at an early age. Today, education for family life is optional. It is the parents who decide whether to send their child to this subject or not, and if this subject comes into force, parents can no longer decide
– he added.
“These are purely formal issues.”
Czarnek was also asked last night on RMF FM about the unofficial information from “Gazeta Wyborcza” that on December 6, judges of the Constitutional Tribunal will choose candidates for the new president of the Constitutional Tribunal, which according to the daily means that the current president, Julia Przyłębska, had to leave her position.
If so, these are purely formal issues. The president simply ends the term of a judge of the Constitutional Court. The term of office of a judge of the Constitutional Court is nine years. This presidential term expires in December and a new president must be elected. There’s nothing special here
– replied Czarnek.

He also recalled that, in accordance with regulations, the President of the Constitutional Court is appointed by the President from among the candidates proposed to him by the General Assembly of Judges of the Constitutional Court.
President Julia Przyłębska is somehow no longer president, as her nine-year term as judge of the Constitutional Court ends

According to information from the Constitutional Court, the terms of office of three of the fifteen judges sitting on the Constitutional Court will end in December this year: on December 9 – Julia Przyłębska, and on December 3 – Mariusz Muszyński and Piotr Pszczółkowski.
Candidates for the Constitutional Court
In accordance with the Rules of Order of the Sejm, candidates for the Constitutional Court are nominated by the Presidium of the Sejm or a group of fifty deputies.
Applications shall be submitted to the Marshal of the Sejm within 30 days before the end of the term; 21 days from the date of cancellation or declaration of expiry of the mandate. Currently, MPs from none of the clubs have submitted candidates for the seats of three people whose terms expire in December within the deadline.
According to Gazeta Wyborcza, Julia Przyłębska proposed her resignation during the ceremonial General Assembly of Judges of the Constitutional Court, which discussed the annual report on the work of the Tribunal.
Przyłębska reportedly said she was moved because it was “her last day.”
