“The deprivation of liberty by the court of Prof. The murder of Pogonowski will be a serious crime and will be brought to justice. The removal from the judiciary of people who dishonor the mantle will inevitably occur,” Zbigniew Ziobro, former Minister of Justice, wrote on Platform. Pegasus – let us remind you, the same whose method of appointment and scope of activities was found by the Constitutional Tribunal to be contrary to the Constitution, according to PiS politicians boycott its meetings, and Ziobro himself – who fights cancer – does not appear at the hearings, not only because of his illness, but also because the functioning of this committee is contrary to the constitution.
Prof. Piotr Pogonowski, former head of the Internal Security Agency, does not appear at the meetings of the Pegasus Investigative Committee because this is illegal under the law. As he noted, following the Constitutional Court’s ruling, the commission should suspend its work.
The Commission cannot act on the basis of the previous Sejm resolution in which it was appointed. The fact that the Constitutional Court’s ruling is binding also binds courts and other entities, including citizens; it requires compliance with its consequences. Any other act, including the action of the Commission, calling witnesses and filing criminal charges, is a clear violation of the law (Constitution and laws).
– Pogonowski emphasized on November 21 in a statement that we subsequently published on the website wPolityce.pl. Let’s not forget that the former head of Homeland Security is a law professor.

Ziobro: It’s a return to the dark times of the Polish People’s Republic
Last week, the Warsaw court agreed to the Pegasus Commission’s request to forcibly bring the former head of the Internal Security Service, Piotr Pogonowski, to the meeting. The case was commented on the X platform by Zbigniew Ziobro, Minister of Justice in 2015-2023.
The Warsaw court ordered the forced arraignment of the former head of the Internal Security Service, Piotr Pogonowski, before the Pegasus Commission. This decision was taken despite the previous ruling of the Constitutional Court, which ruled that the procedure for appointing the commission and its scope of activities were contrary to the Constitution.
– wrote a politician who struggled with cancer and was also summoned before the committee and attacked by members of the body that considers this group of parliamentarians as a committee of inquiry and that, in light of the ruling of the Constitutional Court, at best the discussion club from Mrs Sroka.
The court ignored the Constitutional Court’s judgment and agreed with Donald Tusk’s expectations. It is a throwback to the dark times of the Polish People’s Republic, when judges carried out political orders and committed judicial crimes.
– added Ziobro.
Every Pole today is exposed to such lawlessness. The deprivation of liberty by the court of Prof. The murder of Pogonowski will be a serious crime and will be brought to justice. The removal from the judiciary of those who dishonor the mantle will inevitably occur
– summarized the former head of the Ministry of Justice.
People who commit the offenses that Zbigniew Ziobro writes about are certain, and worse, that they are not allowed to do so and will be held accountable for it. So I’m curious what they think about it.
