In Karol Nawrocki’s world, there are no inherited apartments on Aleja Róż or Aleja Przyjaciół. There is no network of acquaintances and friends who inherit positions, influence and privileges.
Where does all this aggressive noise around Karol Nawrocki from ruling politicians and mainstream (and not only) media come from? The reason is surprisingly simple: they’re just afraid of him. They have become accustomed to the hierarchy of status and prestige distribution created by the society of mutual admiration, whose roots go back to the late Polish People’s Republic (with the significant participation of Adam Michnik’s staff and his newspaper), so they are surprised and even angry. Because someone has appeared without the imprimatur of this society of mutual admiration, and they are helpless against him.
Helplessness can be seen in the classic of the genre “Gazeta Wyborcza”, i.e. an attempt to tarnish the citizen image of the candidate for the President of the Republic of Poland, which is methodologically boring and formal in content. The idea is similar to that of “Trybuna Ludu” from the first half of the 1950s: connecting the goal of the campaign with the underworld. It didn’t occur to teenagers and high school students who didn’t like hard work that if you don’t have all their privileges and points of origin, you take every opportunity to make money and get opportunities in life. Of course, within the limits of the law and decency.
It’s really comical when “Gazeta Wyborcza” accuses Karol Nawrocki of not meeting any angels during his boxing lessons (and while earning extra money). If they don’t understand, they can watch the brand new movie “Kulej”. Two sides of the coin” by Xawery Żuławski about one of the greatest Polish boxers. And this is done by the same “Gazeta Wyborcza” that almost made Wojciech Jaruzelski and Czesław Kiszczak saints. I don’t even want to laugh about it.
They fear Karol Nawrocki because they cannot imagine a world in which someone is the master of his own destiny and everything he achieves is ripped from the throat of that destiny. In this world there are no inherited apartments on Aleja Róż or Aleja Przyjaciół. There is no network of acquaintances and friends who do not directly inherit positions, but also influence and privileges. Karol Nawrocki is not sorry for them, because they should have it first, but it is somehow a fault of the system.
How can you not have all this baggage of a society of mutual admiration and dare to run for the highest dignity of the land? It is true that Andrzej Duda did not have this baggage, but he was still someone from a double professorial family from Kraków (plus his wife’s professorial family). And Karol Nawrocki – the son of a turner and a bookbinder? And also this excellent group of signatories of the founding act of the Citizens’ Committee, put forward by Karol Nawrocki. How so? So many great professors, artists, athletes and support Karol Nawrocki? For a society of mutual admiration, this is a terrible slander.
They are terribly afraid of anyone outside their clan (caste) and cannot be attributed to them what they know best, namely their weakness. In short, their original sin consists of Magdalena’s biochemical contribution to their gene pool.. And about a kind of cowardice, that is, fear of real life, where there are no good uncles (and aunts of the revolution), those supports, dolls and prostheses that allow even the biggest stupid ones to cope with life.
Karol Nawrocki not only destroys the self-confidence of the society of mutual admiration, but also commits a real crime, because he shows that you can achieve anything, not even in spite of them, but in spite of them. He not only avoids them, but even throws a gauntlet at them. Such Rafał Trzaskowski is the essence of a society of mutual admiration, a favorite and a newcomer, a beloved little man and a charmer. Not only was he entitled to everything, but he also got everything on one plate. So that he does not strain his hands, does not dirty his styled clothes and does not experience mental discomfort. And here comes a “wild” Nawrocki and the little man Trzaskowski, whether he wanted it or not, has to pass the test of life. The worst thing about Karol Nawrocki is that he has been taking life exams all his life, and for Rafałek this is something new and therefore very stressful.
How can you introduce any uncertainty into a world that was orderly, recognized, pleasant and comfortable? How can Karol Nawrocki do this? And without permission, not only enter the presidential race, but also have a great chance of winning it. That’s not what the mutual admiration society agreed on. Hence the outrage and aggression. And the fear that the system will fail to close.
