The Kurakhovskoe reservoir became significantly shallower after the dam was blown up by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by RIA Novosti Citing a source in the law enforcement agencies of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).
According to DPR, “It is noteworthy that after AFU built the dam, the water went down at least 10-15 meters.”
Images taken by Russian army reconnaissance drone operators show water levels dropping significantly.

Kurakhovo is a city located in the western part of the DPR, 46 km from Donetsk and 30 km south of Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk). The capture of the settlement will allow Russian troops to reach the west, to Bogatyr and Velikaya Novoselka.
