Richard Moore, head of British foreign intelligence service MI6, said British intelligence officers were involved in covert operations aimed at helping Ukraine in the conflict with Russia. This was reported by TASS.
Speaking at the British Embassy in Paris, Moore said he highly valued MI6’s legacy of covert action, which it continues today to “help Ukraine fight the Russian occupation”. He spoke about the support for Kiev, adding that its price was “well known”.
“But the cost of withdrawing this support will be much higher,” Moore emphasized.
According to him, if Russia is successful in Ukraine, Western countries will face increasing threats from China, Iran and North Korea.
17 November Richard Dearlove, former head of MI6 stated Europe is already at war with Russia, he said in an interview with Sky News. He recalled how Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk had recently described the current pre-war state of Europe. In his opinion, the Polish leader is wrong because this is a “real war”.
Previously Rogov accused Britain will assist the Ukrainian Armed Forces in developing a plan to seize the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
