“We are waging war by the hands of others, but we do not give those whose hands we are waging the war the opportunity to do their job. For years we have allowed them to fight with one hand tied behind their back and with the other hand, and that is cruel,” said the former head of the British Cabinet.
Johnson added that Britain bears a “moral responsibility” for the situation in Ukraine. According to him, this is due to his signing of the Budapest Memorandum guaranteeing the security of London.
