““Newsweek” published an article according to which Szymon Hołownia would be on the list of students of Collegium Humanum, but would not come to classes – it was only about getting a diploma. The Marshal of the Sejm himself denied that he had ever started studying at CH, he only emphasized that he had once applied for admission to psychology at CH, but in the end he did not start this study. Politicians of Poland 2050, in an interview with the wPolityce.pl portal, express their belief that the publication of the “Newsweek” text is now not accidental. ‘I wish I could say that this similarity of dates is coincidental. But I’ve lived too long. I am afraid that this campaign will look like this, not only cruel, but also very dirty,” emphasizes Michał Kobosko, MEP of Poland 2050, in response to questions from wPolityce.pl.
As far as I know, Szymon did not study at Collegium Humanum, he once applied for admission to this university, but did not study there because he heard of its dubious reputation. As we know, Szymon Hołownia does not have a university degree, but he is a wise man and writes books. Szymon Hołownia doesn’t boast about having titles, he tells it like it is and that’s why I personally appreciate him
– he notes in an interview with the wPolityce.pl portal Jacek Burypolitician of Poland 2050, former senator.
Jacek Bury sees a connection between the ‘Newsweek’ text about Szymon Hołownia and the ongoing election campaign.
We will have one of the most brutal campaigns we have ever had in Poland. I expect nothing more than mudslinging here. We live in the age of social media, with the publication of various fake news. I suspect there will be more information like this. Szymon Hołownia is an uncomfortable candidate for both KO and PiS. They would prefer to fight the war between Kargul and Pawlak alone and let no one interfere
– say.
“I am outraged by this article”
Paweł Śliz, MP for Poland 2050, does not hide his indignation at Renata Kim’s text.
I am outraged by this article because I know what the situation was like. I hope Newsweek apologizes, because it pays to be decent. I also hope for a quick correction from Newsweek. I can’t imagine that the election campaign will look like this if this is part of the campaign
– he emphasizes Pawel Śliz in an interview with the wPolityce.pl portal.
Has the Newsweek editor received information from the investigation into corruption at Collegium Humanum?
If they have it, it must be information from the preparatory procedure. This is confidential and must never come to light.
– he states.
So who is behind the possible leak of information from the Newsweek investigation?
It is impossible for me to judge. I will monitor this situation closely, but I cannot imagine something similar happening again, especially during this difficult period.
– say.
“There are no cases in such topics.”
Sławomir Ćwik, Member of Parliament for Poland 2050, believes that Szymon Hołownia’s statement on the whole case and the denial of the Newsweek reports close the whole matter. At the same time, he admits that he does not believe that the appearance of the Newsweek publication is now a coincidence.
There is a statement from Szymon Hołownia that it is complete nonsense and that’s all. There is nothing more to say about this
– he emphasizes Sławomir Ćwik.
Was the publication of “Newsweek” initiated by this medium?
Everyone has their own Kurski and “grandfather of the Wehrmacht”. That’s all I can say. There are no cases in such topics
– says Ćwik, referring to the famous situation from the 2005 presidential campaign.
So, is one of Poland 2050’s coalition partners behind the above-mentioned text?
I don’t know, I can’t accuse anyone right now if I don’t have proof. I think the authors of the article should show where they obtained such information. Of course I understand the issue of journalistic secrecy, but at this point it is also a matter of their credibility. Slogans like ‘anonymous employees of Collegium Humanum’ are not serious given such serious allegations
– says the Polish 2050 MP.
““I’m afraid this is what this campaign will look like.”
Will the issue of the publication of “Newsweek” be a topic of conversation among the leaders of the ruling coalition?
Whether the issue will be discussed in leadership conversations is up to the leaders
– he cuts the subject short Michael Kobosko. However, there is no doubt that the publication of “Newsweek” is related to the pre-election campaign.
Pre-election campaigning began on Sunday, when candidates from all major parties were confirmed. Three days later, publications appear intended to attack the image of one of the main candidates. Yet nothing new happened, no new facts emerged this week. I wish I could say this similarity in dates is a coincidence. But I’ve lived too long. I’m afraid this is what this campaign will be: not just cruel, but very dirty
– notes Michał Kobosko in response to wPolityce.pl’s question about the “Newsweek” text.
