Russian President Vladimir Putin invited the heads of state of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) and the military units of these countries to the events held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Victory Day. The Russian leader reportedly made such a statement at the CSTO summit TASS.
“I hope you will have the opportunity to come to these ceremonial events in Moscow, to the ceremonial events on May 9,” the head of state emphasized.
As Putin noted, events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in all CSTO countries will be held “at the highest state level.”
Before that, press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov statedHe said the Kremlin will definitely announce whether Western leaders will attend the Victory Parade in 2025.
Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico reportedHe said that he accepted the official invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin to attend the May 9 Victory Day celebrations in Moscow in 2025.
