“Today I am the president of the Institute of National Remembrance, a candidate for president. I perform my duties for Polish memory,” said Dr. Karol Nawrocki during a press conference at the station in Włoszczowa.

Dr. Karol Nawrocki answered a question about his situation in connection with his duties as president of the Institute of National Remembrance.
I do not know whether such a practice exists, Mr Rafał Trzaskowski is on leave as Mayor of Warsaw and whether politicians have used unpaid or paid leave so far. But the campaign has only just begun. (…) today I assure you that I am returning to my duties as President of the Institute of National Remembrance. (…) I am performing my duties and am not on unpaid leave. And I ask a public question to President Trzaskowski, for whom, unlike me, this is not the first campaign, but a new campaign (…) today I am the President of the Institute of National Remembrance, a candidate for the presidency, I perform my duties for the Polish memory
– he said.
Karol Nawrocki assured that the fate of “ordinary Poles” was taken into consideration. He drew attention to the importance of ensuring the security of the Republic of Poland.
For me, the problems of ordinary Poles, people like me, are the most important, because I am also an ordinary Pole. Of course safety, which is one of the main pillars of my concern today. We live in difficult times. Economy, economy, security, but also an attempt to unite the Poles in the project I announced, namely ending the Polish-Polish war
– he said.
Poland is finally ready for an impartial president, supported by the Citizens’ Committee and yesterday supported by the United Right
– he added.
Knowledge of foreign languages
The civilian presidential candidate was also asked about his knowledge of foreign languages.
In recent years I have handled many cases for Poland in English. I carried out these international relations as director of the Museum of the Second World War and as chairman of the Institute of National Remembrance. I speak English. I can’t boast my fluent knowledge of Spanish, but in Argentina or Mexico I read articles about Polish history in Spanish.
– replied Karol Nawrocki.
