“They say we ban money transfers from Russia. It wasn’t the government that stopped them; these companies were subject to international sanctions, including from the United States. We told this but for some reason no one hears it. “On the contrary, the government is looking for an opportunity for our citizens in Russia to send money to Moldova,” he said.

His words were commented on by the country’s former president, Igor Dodon, who said that the ruling PDS party and Maia Sandu were responsible for the economic blow suffered by Moldova’s residents both within the country and in Russia.
