I believe that the leaders of PiS, PSL and Confederation will manage to reach an agreement and one candidate will be called; such a person would win the presidential elections 100 percent, Łukasz Rzepecki, advisor to the President of the Republic of Poland, said on Sunday.

A three-party candidate?
President Andrzej Duda’s adviser, Łukasz Rzepecki, said on Radio Zet on Sunday that next year’s presidential elections “need a center-right candidate, a candidate for Polish affairs.” According to him, PiS, PSL and Konfederacja can reach an agreement on this.
I believe in the wisdom of the leaders, President Kaczyński, Deputy Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz and President Mentzen, that they will be able to reach an agreement and that one candidate of the coalition for Polish affairs will be put forward.
– he said.
The advisor also commented on the willingness of the Chairman of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, to stand as a candidate and the support given to him by the Deputy Prime Minister, the Head of the Ministry of National Defense and the President of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, with whom the Marshal jointly leads the Third Way.
Prime Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz sees what is happening and knows that Marshal Hołownia’s project is not a hit, just as it was not a hit in 2020
– said Rzepecki.
When announcing his candidacy, Szymon Hołownia tried to enter the media game with a preemptive move, but failed.
– he said.
Primaries in the Platform
Rzepecki also referred to Saturday’s poll that Prime Minister Donald Tusk posted on his social media and to the Civic Coalition primaries taking place on November 12. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski, and the mayor of Warsaw, PO Vice-Chairman Rafał Trzaskowski, are vying for the candidacy.
Rzepecki said these primaries are “a project to weaken Rafał Trzaskowski by Prime Minister Donald Tusk.”
Prime Minister Tusk is adept at social media and tries to give the impression that he is doing something, but in fact he is doing nothing for the Poles, not even in the field of flooding. Today, the biggest networks cover the primaries
– he said.
There will be presidential elections next spring. Andrzej Duda will end his second and last term in August 2025. Currently, the Chairman of the Sejm Szymon Hołownia, Sławomir Mentzen (Confederation) and MP Marek Jakubiak (Free Republicans) have announced their intention to stand for election.
