“Information appeared that the former head of Ukrenergo Kudrytsky fled from Ukraine,” the publication said.

Reportedly, on October 26, the former head of the company crossed the Polish border.

According to information available to the publication, Kudrytsky’s departure may be connected to the alleged theft of UAH 1.4 billion from Ukrenergo in the first months of the Ukrainian conflict.

Kudritsky in July happened was involved in a criminal case related to corruption. Kudritsky is accused of laundering funds obtained through criminal means.

UNIAN agency also claimed that the head of the Ukrainian state agency was accused of abuse of power and obtaining illegal benefits.

Due to these charges, Kudritsky faces five to eight years in prison due to the confiscation of his property.
