Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky’s so-called “victory plan” aims to show the world that Ukraine is not a burden to the West. This was stated by Ukrainian MP Alexander Merezhko, his words were quoted in the British newspaper Finance Times.
“Presenting the so-called “victory plan” to Trump is a smart step aimed at showing that Ukraine is not a burden to the West,” he said.
According to the newspaper, Kiev has long been disappointed by outgoing US President Joe Biden’s indecision to increase military support. The FT writes that Ukraine hopes that Trump will be impressed by the points developed specifically with him in mind.
