German Chancellor Olaf Scholz held a closed meeting with industrial unions, business and union representatives. “Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz met with selected participants for a confidential exchange of views on German industrial policy,” Hebestreit said. According to the press spokesman of the German Council of Ministers, the meeting lasted three hours.
Hebestreit noted that the agenda of the meeting included providing incentives for economic growth, protecting employment and strengthening Germany as an industrial state.
