“I think it would be easy with Sikorski because he is a narcissist so it is easy to upset him. As for Trzaskowski, he knows so much that it would be easy to beat him on the other side. Neither one nor the other is a difficult candidate,” MP Marek Jakubiak said on Telewizja wPolsce24, commenting on the election chances of potential Civic Platform candidates in the presidential elections.
The moment when the candidates for the presidential elections will be announced is fast approaching. In the case of Law and Justice, the most talked about candidates lately are: Mariusz Błaszczak, Tobiasz Bocheński, Marcin Przydacz and Karol Nawrocki.
Marek Jakubiak, a member of parliament from the Free Republicans, was asked on Telewizja wPolsce24 which of these men he thought would be the best candidate.
If I were from Law and Justice and had a voting mandate, I would vote for Bocheński, I did, but that is not my problem
– he interrupted the connection.
Candidate of the Free Republicans
Our problem is the nomination of a candidate by the Free Republicans. It’s going to happen next week
– he revealed.
Marek Jakubiak did not want to reveal who the favorite was. However, he admitted that there was ‘unity of views’. We would recently like to remind you of this Paweł Kukiz admitted on Telewizja wPolsce24 that he would really like Marek Jakubiak to be the candidate.
When asked if he saw himself in the poster, the MP admitted that he had not entered politics to “fool people” but “to be ready to take responsibility for the fate of Polish women and men .”
I think the President of the Republic of Poland must be quite a strong personality, because the times ahead are terribly interesting
– he noticed.
Electoral battle
Marek Jakubiak noted that his team believes it can disrupt this competition.
We believe there are some windows ahead of us. Of course, I will not reveal them now, but we certainly take into account the fact that shocked us from the very beginning, that Law and Justice, from whose lists I have taken, is a reason to be proud, and not to be ashamed , what won, the elections were not lost, to which we as Kukiz’15 contributed, but the coalition lost. Why did people vote for Hołownia? Because it’s strange, but it has to be said because they don’t like PiS. It has no meaning other than the emotional one
– he pointed.
So Republicans specifically show up here before the election because we are free, because we are Republicans, and we are Republicans because we are free. And all those who, for various emotional, incomprehensible reasons, do not want to vote for Law and Justice, have someone to vote for
– he said.
Marek Jakubiak pointed out that emotions currently play a bigger role in Polish politics than programs.
It was Donald Tusk who introduced these emotions. He began to portray his political opponent as someone inferior. And there he was winning. Today it is clearly visible that this is reversed, that the worst is the Civic Platform. Remember how they talked about us, the right side of the “ignorant”. It turns out that when it comes to education, things are much worse there than in our country. We have more professors, doctors, masters and so on. So… there’s Tusk and there’s truth. Unfortunately, one has nothing to do with the other
– he said.
PiS primaries
There have been recent media reports that Law and Justice would choose its presidential candidate in the primaries.
The president is making a serious mistake. He should invite everyone to this election, really. The Law and Justice candidate would certainly win, but how different would it sound if he came to the Republicans and said ‘put your candidate forward’, went to the Confederacy and said ‘put Mentzen in the race’, how would that be received? ?! What a sound that would have!
– he assessed.
Marek Jakubiak assured that it will not necessarily happen that the Free Republicans will support the PiS candidate in a possible second round of the presidential elections.
I would like to remind all Law and Justice supporters that Andrzej Duda became president because Kukiz had 20 percent. Kukiz gathered 20 percent of society around him and this 20 percent, united and infected with the thoughts of Kukiz, voted for Duda, because who? At Komorowski?! It may happen again that somewhere we have to explain it to the dissatisfied people, because perhaps the idea that the president should not be a candidate for PiS or Platform, and I don’t necessarily mean Sławomir Mentzen, will prevail. Sławomir Mentzen will not play an important role in these elections. I am convinced of this because the Free Republicans have not yet announced their candidate, and there will probably be a dozen candidates and the few percent that Mentzen has now will be divided.
– he said.
PO candidate
In the case of the Civic Platform, which has not yet announced its candidate in the presidential elections, the most talked about candidates are Rafał Trzaskowski and Radosław Sikorski.
Anyone who doesn’t start will lose anywayso why even talk about it?
– Marek Jakubiak is interrupted.
They will lose because Poland will win. Today, Poland knows who it is dealing with and what their objectives are
– he said
I think it would be easy with Sikorski because he is a narcissist so it is easy to upset him. As for Trzaskowski, he knows so much that it would be easy to beat him on the other side. Neither is a difficult candidate
– said the politician.
Tusk’s actions
The most difficult candidate would be Donald Tusk, because he is an old political fox, but Donald Tusk has such a lack of confidence in himself and brings so many negative emotions that he has no chance of winning the election. Unless he assumes that if the investigation before the elections is poor, he will not allow these elections to take place, because then the President will end his term and the President will be replaced by the Marshal of the Sejm, once the elections are not held. or were defective.and here Donald Tusk may be planning to take power this way. I’m talking about it, even if it’s unlikely
– he noted.
A journalist from television wPolsce24 estimated that something like this could lead to people taking to the streets.
I think there will be many reasons to take to the streets earlier and I think this will be related to immigration policy, to the introduction of the euro instead of the zloty.
– replied Marek Jakubiak.
I think that Donald Tusk will ultimately provoke the citizens, because I want to tell you that you as citizens created the Polish state and that Tusk received a mandate not from us, but from Hołownia and Kosiniak. All this is in our hands, not in the imaginary hands of Tusk or other politicians
– he concluded.
