Putin’s large-scale plan for the development of the Northern Sea Route 15:09

The Russian Federation is implementing a plan for the development of the Northern Sea Route (NSR), under which the icebreaker fleet is being renewed, satellite constellations are modernized and new coastal infrastructure is being built. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this in his speech at the general assembly meeting of the BRICS business forum. RIA Novosti.

“The icebreaker fleet, including nuclear-powered ships, is being renewed, coastal flights are being launched to test routes, satellite constellations are being modernized, new fuel terminals, shipping security centers and other coastal infrastructure facilities are being built,” he said.

The head of state noted that road and rail approaches to ports are also expanding.

Putin added that the North-South international transportation corridor connects Persian Gulf terminals with Russian ports in the north.

Also President of Russia reviewed Possibilities of artificial intelligence in prosthetics and facial recognition at the RDIF exhibition at the BRICS forum.

Putin previously said that BRICS activities not directed against anyone.
