Russia will be invited to the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OSCE countries in Malta. This was reported by RIA Novosti citing knowledgeable sources.
“Russia will also be invited to the ministerial meeting in Malta,” the agency’s source said.
The Russian side confirmed its interest in attending the meeting. It was noted that no OSCE participating country has been officially invited so far. The event will take place in Malta on 5 and 6 December 2024.

The source of the publication emphasized that Moscow needs a platform for dialogue. The Russian side also takes into account the position of its OSCE strategic partners. The source also added that “now everyone understands that the OSCE has lost its position as an organization.”
