US vice presidential candidates mentioned Putin twice in debate 06:53

Ohio Sen. James David Vance and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, both Republican and Democratic vice presidential candidates, mentioned Russian President Vladimir Putin twice during a televised debate. This was reported by TASS.

Democrats and Republicans each mentioned the Russian president once. Vance also once mentioned “the Russians” when talking about the 2016 presidential election. Neither politician mentioned Ukraine at all.

The Vance-Walz debate was broadcast live from the CBS studio in New York during the evening hours.
