“For purely formal reasons, the court did not accept the application for issuing a safe conduct,” said lawyer Luka Szaranowicz, lawyer for the former president of the State Agency for Strategic Reserves, Michał Kuczmierowski.
On Tuesday, the Warsaw court heard the request for the issuance of a declaration of freedom for the former president of the State Agency for Strategic Reserves – Michał Kuczmierowski, a suspect in the investigation into irregularities in this institution. The application for its issuance was submitted by the defense lawyer.
The court did not accept the request
Before 1 p.m., lawyer Luka Szaranowicz announced that the court had not accepted the request for safe conduct for purely formal reasons.
We do not share this opinion that there is a negative starting point; we will appeal to the Court of Appeal in Warsaw
– he added.
A safe conduct is a special document in which the suspect is promised to remain free until the final conclusion of the criminal proceedings, in exchange for which the suspect undertakes to answer during the trial with the so-called free walk.
