“Almost every rule that could have been broken in this area has been broken. All legal institutions were trampled one by one, i.e. the Head of State, the President and his prerogatives, the Constitutional Court and finally the Supreme Court. You cannot behave like this,” said Mariusz Gosek of Sovereign Poland in “Debate po Wiadomości wPolsce24”.

“All legal institutions trampled”
Marta Kielczyk’s guests in the program “Debate after News wPolsce24” were MPs Mariusz Gosek from sovereign Poland, Łukasz Osmalak from Poland 2050 and Marek Woch from the non-partisan local government.
Dismissing the National Prosecutor requires the written consent of the President, and appointing him requires the President’s discretion. The president is the guardian of the constitution. We live in a democratic state governed by law, the model of which is enshrined in our Constitution. Almost every rule that could have been broken in this area has been broken. All legal institutions were trampled one by one, i.e. the Head of State, the President and his prerogatives, the Constitutional Court and finally the Supreme Court. You can’t behave like that
– explained Mariusz Gosek from Sovereign Poland.
‘I feel sorry for Minister Bodnar’
I do not subscribe to the idea that the law should not be respected. We must and will live in a constitutional state. Let me start by saying that I feel sorry for Minister Bodnar because I think he is in a very difficult situation and we have to be honest. What the United Right did to the system and the law in Poland screamed for revenge to the heavens. Królik and his colleagues sat on every possible stool and today this system must be turned upside down. I believe that Mr. Bodnar’s mission is very difficult
– said Łukasz Osmalak from Poland 2050.
Our country has a system, namely the so-called separation of powers. We have legislative, executive and judicial powers. Executive power is exercised by the President and the Council of Ministers. Legislative power is exercised by parliamentarians and senators. However, courts and tribunals are a separate and independent authority from other authorities. Courts and tribunals rule on behalf of the Republic of Poland. Therefore, discussions about overturning tables do not fit into legal nomenclature. Minister Bodnar has a very large and difficult role
– explained Marek Woch from a non-partisan local government.
““We have a legal mess.”
The Minister of Justice has nothing to do with how the courts rule and I hope that this will never change and that your government will not lead to this either. Today we are dealing with total legal chaos. Please believe me that criminals will take advantage of this, it will all really create gigantic chaos. This case is not complex, Mr. Bodnar has no problem, he himself is a problem for the Polish legal system
– added Mariusz Gosek.
