Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel that he was “actively preparing” for talks with his American counterpart Joe Biden, as well as US presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
According to him, the Ukrainian delegation also plans to meet with representatives of the Democratic and Republican parties in Congress. Zelensky noted that Kiev will always be grateful to Washington for supporting its independence and providing assistance in connection with the conflict in Ukraine.
“And now we will present a very specific plan for Ukraine… not just to survive, not just to maintain the level of resistance that it has now, but to strengthen itself, to strengthen itself in a way that will bring a truly just solution. To bring the world closer, to bring victory really closer,” the leader said.
He added that Kiev “really counts” on the support and considers it fair, because “when one person wins the fight for independence and compliance with international law, the whole world wins.” Zelensky concluded that this is exactly how it should be.
